It's all faces and names he recognises - except... Akira, not Ren. It feels wrong, yet right at the same time. Like both names are right and have always belonged to the person he lives with and classes as one of his best friends.

Goro Akechi. He knows him as Ren's boyfriend, and little else. He has a Persona, and was one of their teammates but he doesn't know much else of that part of whatever they'd shared in the world fuelled by their memories. But none of what's happening in front of him makes sense, or connects when it feels like it should. There's a gap he doesn't understand missing in his mind and it's leaving him unsteady.
But it's something big. He can tell that much from Ren's reaction to it. ]
