This piece is for coursework, but... I will need to consider exhibit entries sooner rather than later.

I enjoy drawing people. If I can come up with a theme for it, I might make people my focus point. We are naturally drawn to other people, after all. It'll draw attention.

That's true. Most people feel they can relate best when they see someone similar to them, after all... Though people, themselves, put barriers to keep themselves separated.

True. But if I focus on people in their element - when they are happiest, and when they are engaged in something they enjoy... I think that would be a good place to pull elements that resonate with an audience from.
[ His attention is peaked by the appearance of the box - as he takes more tempura. Mmmyeah. Veggies.
The box sliding does actually drag his attention from the delicious food, and what's inside catches his attention more than anything. He's not about to unfold the kigurumi at the table, but it does get a good look over, as does the palette. ]
