[Elliot sends several pictures of the magic forest, along with pictures of friendly forest animals, various cool looking mushrooms, and abandoned cottages.
And yes. Plenty pictures of his fox friend. Elliot's in none of the pictures though, as he's taking all of them and he figures who wants that anyway?]
[jfc just give him a burger and tell him to sit down for awhile.] Haha, it sure feels that way! I mean, there's some monsters, and dangerous things. But it's really pretty?
I wish you could see it in person. I could see you spending forever painting here.
[ can't they mail order elliot over? give him a hug and tell him to calm his tits? ]
It looks it! It's beautiful, and so delicate looking... Even with monsters and dangerous things. Are there faefolk there? It looks like there should be.
There's more colour there, at least. But it's beautiful here as well, in its own way.
[He uploads a photo of something like this, except that it's very blurry not unlike photos of ghosts. Still, Yusuke can still make out something is there.]
Cleo mentioned the wolves. They're some type of monster?
We're helping a village of Dyrads. Apparently, there's something sinister in the forest and they're concerned for their home. They don't think they can fight it off, and they only function at night so that makes traveling a lot more difficult. Whatever this sinister thing is, it's been coming closer to them.
My team had to clear some paths to make it easier to travel. Some of it was regular debris, but we got attacked by this vine monster that was being controlled by some dark energy. And there was a ten foot tall anthill, that was weird.
The other teams are still working, so I don't know what they've learned yet.
No, I dunno when the thing will attack. But the Dryads can only move at night since they're tree spirits. I guess they have to spend the day as trees or something?
But that sounds like the kind of work we've been doing. What you guys are doing. Not the riddles.
According to my cousin, he's in hell playing a messed up game of the floor is lava. And he might have a fire horse?
So they are waiting until the evening to attack the Dryads? The people here seem to be human and stick to a regular sleep pattern... maybe they attacks are supposed to pick people off?
I am! I wanna come in one piece as much as anyone.
Yeah. Korra is Olivia's fiance. Except she didn't tell us they were engaged, or even dating the past 3 years. I found by accident a couple days before we left.
Haha, that's true. Her Persona's very powerful! And she always has a good head on her shoulders.
Have you had a chance to speak to him since we all went our separate ways?
I see. That balance between the right to keep one's personal business to themselves and the right of families to be aware of what's happening within their ranks, I take it.
I haven't seen many of the others, aside from Akira's come to think of it. In their own way, they're sort of personal.
I will keep an eye on Akira as well. He seems to be doing fine thus far, if it is a comfort to know.
[ he will do his best. ]
Yes. It would be nice to wrap this up and head home sooner rather than later. My canvases and easel are at home, and sketching alone doesn't quite satiate the urge to paint.
Thanks, it is. I sent him some recipes and the dietary preferences of everyone I know in your group. Hoping that'll make things a bit better for you guys.
[In other words, Akira is now the Substitute Elliot]
Haha, I get it. I'm sure they miss you a lot. I've been using my staff as a violin, but I miss my real violins. And my piano. John brought a keyboard, but it's not the same.
2/4;
And yes. Plenty pictures of his fox friend. Elliot's in none of the pictures though, as he's taking all of them and he figures who wants that anyway?]
Hope you're okay!

Did you all fall into a Disney film?

Yeah! There's Dyrads! I have pictures, but they always come out pretty blurry.
We're helping out a village of them.
Oh right, I heard you guys were in some snowy place.
no subject
...
[ he was kidding??? ]
Truly? I... would still like to see, if that's alright. Just an idea of how they look would be wonderful.
Yes, it's very cold. And we've been tracking some strange spirit wolves...? One vanished right in front of our eyes.

Cleo mentioned the wolves. They're some type of monster?

[ It's enough that he can make an abstract piece out of it, for sure. If so inclined. ]
I think so. When we found one it almost seemed to expand and enlarge before vanishing. It certainly wasn't normal.
no subject
I wish you could see them in person.
Yeah, that doesn't sound normal at all.
I can't help but think the problems these areas are having are connected.
no subject
...
What sort of things have you learned so far? Perhaps if we pool information as we receive it we can build a bigger picture.

That sounds similar to here. We know there are wolves around, but they only seem to get very active at night.
We've been information gathering so far, it seems. Exploring the area, recon in the village. Setting ground work for... something, I suppose.
One of the groups was solving riddles, I think?

... Oh, is he in a group with Haru?
no subject
But maybe they are. It's pretty worrying.
Yeah! I saw her name on that group too. Zack and Olivia are my family. Korra too, I guess? That one's a pretty new development...
I'm sorry if they've caused any trouble for Haru.
no subject
A new family member?
I'm sure it'll be fine. Haru is very capable of taking care of herself.
no subject

[ so y'all can have a hecking disney reunion later. ]
And Olivia is a family member of yours? ... That's a long time and quite a serious a relationship to have without mentioning it to anyone.
So I have been told, although admittedly I haven't seen her use it yet. As long as she is well protected.
no subject
[So stay away from titans, threats towards his people, and veggie burgers that look like real burgers]
Yeah, she's something like a cousin. It really is, but I want to hear her reasoning for keeping it secret first before I decide how to feel.
You haven't?? Whoa, well I won't spoil it! It's a sight to be seen.

Exactly. And there's plenty of stuff I haven't shared with the family, so I don't wanna judge until I know more.
Well, I guess they are part of your persona. [Eyyyyy]
no subject
Well, I will ice his feet to the floor if he's too reckless. I can handle the cold myself, so it wouldn't bother me.

Personal things are always complicated. Be it family, or managing and controlling the physical manifestation of your inner self.

True enough! Here's hoping both those fronts go well this month.
