eren settles down in the living room somewhere while he waits for yusuke to get his things whenever he was ready. in the meantime— eren sets his helmet down right next to him, folds his hands, opens his mouth, closes his mouth, opens it again.
[ I mean. For the moment he's just getting the basic sketch book, he'll have to use his words if we wants paint and canvas, so it doesn't take too long. ]

[ It was ... a little scary, actually. He knew using a Persona was tiring, but he'd hollowed out almost all of his energy reserves in that final mission and was still recovering now. And Yu had still almost died. It highlighted a lot of weaknesses he wasn't fully aware he had. ]
[ things don’t go away if you don’t fix the source of drainage, but it’s just a watchful mention, no snap or bark to it. they’ve all been through a lot, and that also goes for himself as a reminder. ]

[ It's enough to get started on. Outline wise, at least. However, he needs more detail than just what a woman was doing. ]
Do you want that pose exactly? Or just a sketch of what she looks like? I would need more description of her, in either case. The shape of her face, the length and shape of her nose, etc.
[ eren holds a hand up, as if it were holding a brush and pulling at hair, pretty delicately, and— yes he’s posing for him, even the expression that had been on the woman’s face is the one he’s wearing now, neutral but soft. maybe a little lost in thought. ]

[ eren moves out of his seat to take one next to yusuke, leaning over to watch him work. he keeps tilting his head to see the angles and whatnot, see if it looks right. it’s a good thing he’s not afraid to say so. ]

There were frills here, too. [ he points, finger hovering over the hem of her nightgown. ] Tiny ones.
[ but other than that— the rest is approved. eren only watches quietly now, hands rubbing together nervously. ]
[ These are easy tweaks, and with Eren correcting him as he goes it doesn't take long for him to get a base sketch down - frills on the nightgown and all. He takes a moment to brush down the front of the paper, before holding it up for Eren to get a proper look at. ]

[ If he approves it, Yusuke can neaten and bold some of the lines, and add more life to the piece. ]
[ eren nods with approval, and his expression might as well be awed at how perfect it came out. especially with the extra pop yusuke seems to be giving it. it’s exactly the way he remembers.

[ eren opens his mouth yet again but no words come right away, trying to think of how to actually word it. ]
They’re not my memories, I don’t know who she is. But I was seeing through her eyes.

I don’t know, but I’ll find out. [ there should be other people around the network that could shed some light on it. directly or indirectly. ] I remember a while ago, someone asked something similar. I just don’t know if this is something the past me could do or if the app is having problems and giving me someone else’s.
Is that possible...? It's confusing enough getting all these memories that do relate to us, without mixing in memories from people who aren't us as well. And if we are receiving other memories, does that mean there's something going wrong with the app...?
[ He's paused for the moment, pencil set flat against his sketchpad. ]

[ he gives a brief point to it, glancing down and observing the woman. he wonders who she is, but at the same time sort of dreads finding out. he wonders why that feeling comes into the mix, maybe slight fear of having his memories switched, or perhaps having more than one life really involved with him. one was enough. ]
If there’s something wrong with the app, there’ll be bites. Someone might even know this woman. Or is this woman.
[ Sort of. It's concerning, to think that their memories could be fair game to anyone. Remembering the raw feelings of having some of the most fragile points of his other self's life on display in the subway... makes it worse. ]
And if there is something wrong? These are fragile, precious things. Imagining that anyone could see them without prompting is... concerning.
