And Yusuke is still not paying attention to his ice cream, so when a large glob of the dessert falls from the cone and lands unceremoniously on his hand, the sudden, sharp cold that ricochets along his nerves is enough for him to drop the whole thing on the ground.
[That's right, Haru's wedding bells are reserved for a special lady. At least Yusuke can be the maid of honor? Close enough?]

The sharp cold that spreads from his hand is enough to make him pause, like the ice cream frozen him rather than just made a mess on his hand. It's... familiar; cold drifting through the air, and sound like glass shattering as ice forms and shatters. An ebb and release of power but he can't tell where it came from - him, but at the same time not him.
... Sorry, Haru, he's not actually heard a word you've said. Even regarding the kind offer to share ice creams. Just give him a moment.]
[She does, at least, give him a few seconds to answer. When she doesn't receive a reply, though, Haru frowns a little, then looks up at him while straightening up, both cones in her hands now.]
[You know, since she's just standing there, she's just gonna... let the empty cone drop, bend to take the napkin that's around the bottom of it, and start to wipe at the ice cream still on Yusuke's hand. If he's a little too out of it to clean it up himself, then by gosh, she'll do it for him.]
