[ ...why do these keep sending to people she doesn't even know!! Retrospec, explain. ]
you can find them all in flower shops, actually. the succulents that were in the other half of this list are a little less easy to pinpoint... regardless, it is. i am sorry to have bothered you. however, while you're here! please run this errand for me. i'll even reward you for the trouble.
[He... might as well? He wants to gather as much inspiration and ideas for his classes as possible and there ain't no still life like a collection-of-flowers still life.]
as soon as possible, to be honest. it's going be quite a struggle to find a way to put them and the succulents together in a way that's both pleasing to the eye and simple to hold. i have faith i'll be able to manage, but simply sketching it out isn't working for now.
Of course! The size of the flowers, the contrast and complements of the colours, the meaning behind the different blooms. It is an art form in and of itself in my home country.
[He's scrolling back up to look over that list again.]
Although will you have trouble with the myosotis, given the state of blue right now?
not at all. happily, flowers have their colors back, so the vibrant hue of myosotis can shine as much as it wants to. fruits as well. but i'm not using any fruits in my bouquet (yet? perhaps?)
[ at least he's 50% more likely to do her shopping for her now. will he be reimbursed though? ]
!!! This is wonderful news!
The delicate pale blues of myosotis are an excellent complement in most bouquets - calmer and gentler than filling the space with white blooms. I'll be glad to see blue again when searching for these flowers...
[ of course, she doesn't send people out on quests for no reward...! ]
white does get a bit monotonous, even among far more colorful blossoms, depending on how much you use to fill space. likewise, i feel as if purely white bouquets are rather basic, despite the array of shapes that flowers can come in.
[ you're not supposed to have favorite arrangements probably but GUESS WHAT. ]
[ that's good, maybe she can get him lunch. food usually works. ]
They can be beautiful, but they are defaulted to so often they often lose that beauty and become mundane. It's a lovely accent to brighter blooms, but there are so many other floral options that can be used.
i don't blame you; lilies are beautiful. my favorites are amaryllis and yellow jasmine, though chinese chrysanthemum has a meaning attached to it that i'm fond of.

[he's immediately gone from bemused to genuinely interested.]
What are you aiming to achieve with them? A still life piece?

a flower arrangement. a bouquet specifically, actually.
which i suppose is art in its own way, if you'd like to consider it so.
i certainly would.

[ there's a pause, and then a second text. ]
But I am fond of lilies.
