Crabs are already so when they are small, I dread to think what people would wish to do to them if they were the size of a common house cat.
All appreciation of their functional and unique design would be gone in favour of eating them.
i'm sure if you dress up your cat-sized crabs, people wouldn't think of eating them? their pincers would also be a lot larger, too. they can defend themselves.
