Yes, that would probably be an idea. It's cooler right now, so you can cover up with long sleeves and layers...
But in the summer you might need to think about alternatives. There are some foundation based make ups that are made to cover things like scarring and tattoos... however you'd need to reapply it every day...
You can see them through white shirts, but most other shirts cover them up just fine, since the one on my is high enough for short sleeves to hide too. I guess I'll just never wear white....

... I'm not really sure. It's up to you - if it isn't a month, then you've plenty of time before it gets too warm to not wear short sleeves to see if it's longer. But the window of opportunity to tell your parents would likely be gone...

... It might depend on how many showed up and where. If it gets to the point that you just can't hide them, then you'll have to come clean. Luckily, things aren't as strict about tattoos here... and you're into the second half of your final year at high school now, correct?
Well, yeah.... I have long sleeves on in a lot of my memories, but I've had a few without them, so I'm pretty sure there aren't any tattoos on my legs or the rest of my arms. But for all I know, the rest of my body could be covered.

I'm still a junior, but I should be able to keep them hidden in school. It's my parents that worry me.... But I'm going to hope what Hinata said about people getting used to it is true.

... Well, they can't take it off your skin or demand you go through a removal process. Also your parents can't ground you for life, you're legally not under their control once you're 18, I believe.
I made it out alive when I pierced my ears in middle school, so that's something, I guess. But you know my mom.... She'll say turning 18 doesn't change anything. But I still have a year and a few months to go, so I guess we'll see.

I would argue that what you do with your own body is your choice, but... I'm not sure I would be willing to get into an argument with your mother on your behalf. If I am to be entirely honest.
