[ Natural poses are truly the best for drawing. Interesting, easier to make look like a snippet of real life held frozen in time, softer and more subtle. And the subject of the piece isn't left uncomfortable and unhappy.

Yusuke dips his brush into a light toned paint, and dabs it on a mixing board, before searching for a complementary tone to make an ideal skin tone. ]

I ended up in Magatus. It was quite a long journey out there... and it was very cold.

We don't know. He was just trapped behind a door in the subway. And there were monsters. I got to kill one really big ugly one.

And it's ridiculous because it was unnecessary. None of us wanted a medal.

Perhaps it was all he could think of to openly express gratitude. Is it better than your achievement being ignored?

Well, yes. They've been pretty supportive of me and Eleanor dating, too.

Did you have to fight wolves, though?

I think some people did, but my group did not. And I was a little unconscious by the end of the mission.

Um. Her birthday, in late January. We haven't told a lot of people though.

I take it that things are going well then, if your parents have met her?

Oh, they've known her since we were seven. she's one of my oldest friends.

They are aware the two of you are now dating though?

Oh yes. They were a little nervous since we live together, but...they did meet in a dormitory in college. So, they accepted it.

[Her parents? weirdly supportive. Plus they trust their daughter, and Eleanor.]

Why would they be nervous about you living together? I would have thought that was a testimony to how well you get along. And you are hardly irresponsible...

Because...we're dating? [There's the whole 'unsupervised and possible easy s-e-x' too, though Yukiko hasn't quite gotten that far yet.]

Were they concerned about you having roommates in general as well?

Yes...a little. That's why they bought the condo we're living in. So I could have my pick, and they'll have property when I graduate.

They make an investment for the future and you have “landlords” you can trust and know you will have a secure and comfortable living space. It’s quite wise in a way.

[It's also something only the wealthy could do, but it is a good idea.]

I don't have to worry about troublesome landlords, bad dormmates, any of that. And Eleanor gets a free place to stay, which helps her save money.
